James has passed away, 4-2-2010. He appreciated all of you very much. He got alot of pleasure from you guys and your ideas. Good bye James, I had 14.5 GREAT years with you. You are in a place now where there is no more disappoinment. MATT
I'm very, very sorry for your loss. It is unfortunate that things like this happen, and I know, all too well, that there's nothing that I can say to lighten the pain or make this occurrence any less painful for you.
In defense of the people you refer to at FWA, I doubt there is much they could have done to have prevented this situation, or not have done that would have changed this outcome. I know you're hurting, but please take into account that the people you're accusing and blaming in this post are almost certainly not the cause of this, even if their behavior may have acted as a catalyst. And I'm sure they are supportive of you and concerned about you as well.
Best of luck moving forward from this tragedy, again, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.
It saddens me to hear of this, over the past year or so i have come to find James to be a close friend, and a great asset. The world has lost a great mind and a great talent today. Deepest sympathies for your loss, all i can say to you is remember the good times, and his memory will live on in the minds and hearts of those whose lives he touched.
I hardly know what to say. I too am very sorry to hear this news. It does not seem real. Having gone through this just over a year ago, I know all too well how incredibly unfair the whole thing is.
Even though I cannot be there in person, I hope you know that you can call or write anytime - just to vent, cry, or whatever. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
James was a great person and I would have done anything to help him if he asked, I will miss him and if you, matt need someone to talk to or need help Please.... contact me.
As i write this i sit here in a complete state of shock. The passing of James 'Bodisama' Hatton was most certainly untimely in every sense of the word.
James and i go back a very long way, more than 16 years, to when we were both members of the New World Rubbermen, long before the internet when contacts were made through snail-mail and phone. i was just a down-and-out pup back then, and he was part of the reason for what i am today. His kind and caring push turned my life around for the better, and for that i will always be grateful to him. His selfless caring nature was a shining example of what we should all strive for.
i was just in contact with him a week ago expressing the desire to once again sit and chat as we used to, and now knowing that that will never happen makes this pup weep.
You will definitely be missed James... may you find the peace that you deserve.
I don't know what happened. Or what led to this end. But I am really sorry he's gone. I was starting to really notice his work, and now ... No more.
I saw his dream in DevilDog Rubber. While I didn't know him personally, I appreciated his pursuit of his dreams, and his unique vision is now forever lost.
Being the sentimental type that I am, For anyone who has his creations, care for them, cherish them. They are literally irreplaceable.
I am so sorry to about your partner's passing. I just now found his profile on Gear Fetish and the stuff he was planning on selling. You should honor his memory and keep up his work.
